Michelle has been visiting and walking our dog for the last few years and during that time she has never let us down, which is really important to us. When we leave our dog in the morning, we have peace of mind knowing that Michelle will always turn up to care for him. I just wanted to drop a few lines to express my delight on how fantastic Michelle has been with both my boxers. She has walked them for well over 18 months now and my dogs love it and her. Come rain or shine she never fails to turn up on time. I never worry about the safety of my boxers as I know they are in safe hands. As well as dog walking we have used Michelle's dog sitting service of which was a great comfort to me whilst I was away. I would recommend her all day long and I know my two dogs definitely would!! Michelle has been walking Murphy for nearly 2 years. Murphy is my beautiful Boxer dog (my pride and joy ) and he's a happy little soul and Michelle always makes sure of this. Initially, Michelle came to our house to meet us and Murphy and to talk about him. His habits regarding behaviour, walking and interaction with other dogs were some of the things we discussed. Michelle then got to know Murphy on a one to one basis over a period of time. They have built up a special bond and Michelle is able to trust Murphy and she takes him out with other dogs and he gets on well with all of Michelle's clients. Michelle is excellent at understanding the animals she cares for and she knows who she can take out with who!!! I tell Michelle each week which days to come. I am a nurse and I work shifts and sometimes I have to change my shift at short notice, Michelle is very accommodating with this. She is a very busy lady but she will always try and accommodate you in some way. Going to work knowing that Murphy is going to be well looked after by Michelle is very satisfying for me and I feel at peace!!! When I get home there is always a little note from Michelle telling us how Murphy has been!! Murphy looks happy wagging his tail as he greets us!! We don't know what we would do without her. I had always been concerned about who would look after my dogs Ellie (Labrador) and Lola (Havanese) whenever I went away on holiday but now I no longer have that worry. Michelle was recommended to me by my sister whose dogs she also looks after. When we are away we always get text messages from Michelle to let us know how the dogs are getting along which is great. Ellie and Lola love Michelle. They are treated as one of the family with much care and kindness. Ellie and lola are excercised twice a day and have lovely long walks. Michelle has been walking our Boxer Boy Dixie for over 18months now. The decision to have a Dog Walker was a stressful one for me, Im sure like me your dog is your baby and I wanted to know that he was going be looked after and in good hands. The minute I met Michelle she put me at ease with her knowledge and passion for not only Boxers but for all dogs, and Dixie took to her immediately. Michelle picks him up from our home every Tuesday and Thursday and he loves going out for his walks, he has also become a lot calmer and more sociable. Since Michelle was recommended to me it has made my life so easy when going away on holiday. I have used her service numerous times and so has my sister. The dogs love her and this was confirmed when she popped round to drop some keys off - as soon as they heard her voice they went crazy! I could honestly not recommend her enough. Before finally deciding to get my little dog Honey I researched the web for a local dog waker and found Michelle. Her love for animals was immediately obvious and I knew I had found the right person to look after my puppy on the days I go to work. Little did I realise just how invaluable Michelle's understanding of dog behaviour was. She reinforced the puppy training I had started at local classes and gave me the support and help I needed - especially as my puppy was quite weak and poorly in the early days. Michelle came in and nursed her for me, giving her medication, company and love. She helped socialise my puppy with the right mix of temperaments giving me a well rounded dog who generally (!) knows how to behave with other dogs and people. Michelle also looks after my dog when I know I am going to be out late in the evening or overnight. I can relax knowing she is in safe hands. I look forward to getting home from work and reading Michelle's daily notes updating me on Honey's walk and her adventures for the day! They certainly get a variety of walks and venues from parks to beaches. I quite often get photos or video clips too. On the occasions I bump into Michelle at the park gates, Honey's face lights up, her tail wags and she is so excited to see Michelle - I wonder whose dog she thinks she is - trying to get back into Michelle's car rather than mine! I have absolutely no doubt I have found the right person and family to care for my little dog and would have no hesitation in recommending "Paws About" to anyone looking for a dog walking service. We have used Paws About for 18 months - Michelle comes to our house Monday to Friday every week to walk our dog "Holly". The service is completely reliable and professional and I feel totally relaxed knowing our dog and house keys are in safe hands. Michelle is really flexible with dates and can accommodate last-min requests if you need to change arrangements.. When my partner Paul was called up for a tour of duty to Afghanistan in February 2011 I was concerned about our Springer spaniel ‘Harley’ as he loves his long walks with Paul in the morning after Paul has finished his night shift , & then again in the afternoon when Paul gets up. He is not used to being left alone all day which would have been the case , as I work fulltime. I contacted Michelle to see if she could help with Harley’s care ,it was the best thing I could of done. Harley adores her and soon adapted to his routine through the week. He would lie on the back of the settee waiting for Michelle to come for him and was always pleased to see her (even if I was at home). It gave me great peace of mind knowing he was getting the exercise he needs while I was at work and Paul away. Michelle is so reliable and always kept me updated of the walks they went on ,it was so nice to read her notes of an evening on my return home .
